There are three gas chromatogrphas in the group (Varian3900, Varian 3600 and HP5890). All three of them are located in Dunbar 251A. . Both the varin GCs are fully automated and are equipped with auto samplers. The GC’s can handle both chiral and achiral stationary phase separations. All GCs of them are equipped with Flam ionization (FID) detectors. In addtion, the Varian 3600 is also equipped a thermal Conductivity (TCD) detector in addition to the Flame ionization detector to handle preparative scale separations. We thank prof.
